Our annual Winter Performance: A Sharing of Students’ Dance Work this year took place on Thursday 14 December, with two showings at 3pm and 6pm, and was an opportunity for parents and guardians to watch their child dance and witness the progress they’ve made during the Autumn term. For parents of Year 7 students, this marked the first time they have watched their child dance in our studio theatre at Elmhurst.
The Winter Performance consisted of the sharing of work performed by Year 7 Girls (Artistic Tutor, Nicky Linzie); Year 7 Boys (Artistic Tutor, Mary Walsh);Year 8 Girls (Artistic Tutor, Nicky Linzie); Year 8 Boys (Artistic Tutor, Alex Harrison); Year 9 Girls (Artistic Tutor, Andrea Tredinnick); Year 9 Boys (Artistic Tutor, Joshua Barwick); Year 10 Girls (Artistic Tutor, Sonia Fajardo); Year 10 Boys (Artistic Tutor, Alex Harrison); Year 11 Girls (Artistic Tutor, Gloria Grigolato); Year 11 Boys (Artistic Tutor, Lee Robinson); Year 12- Snowflakes from The Nutcracker (arranged and rehearsed by Lee Robinson and Andrea Tredinnick); Year 13- Waltz of the Flowers from The Nutcracker (arranged and rehearsed by Michael Raynaud); Graduate Year- The Nutcracker Grand Pas de Deux (arranged by Michael Raynaud and rehearsed by Michael Raynaud, Joshua Barwick, and Robert Parker), and The Nutcracker Finale (arranged and rehearsed by Sonia Fajardo).
