Thanks to the generosity of our amazing supporters and the work of our dedicated fundraising team, this year we have raised over £100,000 for the school, which will help Elmhurst to keep its training diverse, challenging and accessible for talented young people. Support is needed more than ever this year, as more families face hardship as a direct impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thank you for enabling us to continue providing support to our students, whether it's providing a bursary to help with fees, uniform or commissioning new and challenging choreography to keep our training fresh and relevant, these donations big or small have a huge impact on the school.
While Elmhurst students are taking a much-needed break, we're using the time to look at how we can support the wider dance community as a school, and have partnered with Studio Wayne McGregor to work towards a new project, Reset 2. Through fundraising efforts we hope to attract further support for the programme that aims to assist up to 60 dance graduates across the UK, who have been dramatically impacted by the pandemic, to learn new skills to keep creatively engaged, motivated and develop a set of skills to help propel them into employment in the dance sector.
