Part-time (0.6), 3 days, Term time only

£16,500 per annum (actual) (FTE £27,500) 

For September 2024 the school is seeking to recruit a part-time Learning Support Assistant (EAL Specialist) who will be responsible for supporting students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) in their academic and social development, ensuring they have equal access to the curriculum and opportunities to succeed.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that is highly successful where students have a desire to learn. 

3 days per week (term-time only - 35 weeks) – the distribution of the hours/days is negotiable depending on need.

Part time - 22.5 hours per week, 52 week contract (not term time only)

To be worked over 3 or 4 days per week in school

 £15,000 actual salary (FTE £25,000)

Elmhurst Ballet School is a highly successful vocational ballet school associated with Birmingham Royal Ballet and is based one mile from the city centre in Edgbaston. Elmhurst caters for up to 200 students aged 11-19, many of whom are boarders.

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger and Accounts Officer to join our small finance team on a part-time basis, reporting in to the Director of Finance and Operations. The post holder will be the sole person responsible for all aspects of the purchase ledger, preparation of monthly payroll data for our outsourced payroll provider, uploading pension contributions, management of petty cash and employee expenses and some accounts preparation tasks. Purchase ledger experience is essential and experience of using SAGE is preferable.

The successful candidate will work towards fulfilling the school’s commitment to a high quality provision for students and will promote and embody the school’s ethos: the Elmhurst Way.

We nurture individuality to equip our students with the skills, resilience and creativity to succeed and make a difference in the professional dance world and beyond.

We are looking to appoint a part-time Contemporary Dance Teacher to join Elmhurst’s Artistic faculty from September 2024. We are looking for an experienced Contemporary Dance Teacher with an understanding of a wide range of contemporary techniques and styles. Experience of teaching at vocational level would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with students to produce material for performances.
