At Elmhurst, our staff and students benefit from the guidance of expert colleagues in dance, academics, health and wellbeing, and boarding. Additionally, we have the support of freelance consultants and a Board of Governors, who bring diverse expertise from the dance and business sectors. In July, we bid 'good luck, but not goodbye' to several highly respected and valued members of our school team.
As the summer term concluded, the Elmhurst community expressed their deep admiration and heartfelt gratitude to the colleagues who departed this summer. These individuals have made invaluable contributions to Elmhurst, consistently supporting the school's aims and ethos. Through their various roles, they have shown remarkable dedication and provided unwavering support to the students.
Leaving Elmhurst are:
Naomi Maze, our Deputy Houseparent, who has decided not to return following her maternity leave. We wish Naomi all the very best as she continues this next chapter with her family.
Rhiannon Curtis-Davis, also a Deputy Houseparent. We are grateful to Rhiannon for her dedicated support in Camberley House and her contribution to the pastoral life of the school.
Thomas Crumpton, Teacher of Maths. Tom has been a valued member of the academic team and has contributed significantly to the Maths department.
Helen Pollard, our SEND Lead. Helen has played a pivotal role in supporting our students and transforming our SEND provision. Her contribution has been deeply appreciated by students, staff, and families alike.
We extend our heartfelt best wishes to all of them and sincerely hope they find success and happiness in their future endeavours. Each individual has significantly enriched life at Elmhurst, and we look forward to their visits in the future.
