School Receptionist / Administrator (Afternoons)

part-time - 27.5 hours per week

(term time only)

£13,566 per annum (actual salary)

We are looking for someone to join us as a School Receptionist / Administrator (afternoons) working 12.30pm - 6.00pm Monday - Friday.

The School Receptionist / Administrator is the initial point of contact for incoming phone calls, visitors, students, staff and general email enquiries. The successful candidate will be well-presented with a professional, friendly approach and will be an essential member of the Administrative team, contributing towards the smooth running of the School. 

The successful candidate will work towards fulfilling the School’s commitment to a high quality of service and will promote and embody the School’s ethos; The Elmhurst Way.

Term time only contract (27.5 hours per week, term time plus INSET days)

Hours: Monday - Friday 12:30pm – 6.00pm

Pianist

Casual

(term time only)

£26.03 per hour

Elmhurst Ballet School is a highly successful vocational dance school associated with Birmingham Royal Ballet and is based one mile from the city centre in Edgbaston.

We are looking for someone to join us as a casual pianist (no regular hours attached to the role - hours will be offered, occasionally at very short notice and agreed mutually between school and the casual employee) to play for ballet classes.  Applicants should be competent pianists with a love of working collaboratively with other artists.

The school week runs from Monday to Friday as well as for our Saturday Young Dancer’s Programme.

Term-time (37 weeks), full-time, 5 days per week (however part-time will be considered and pay will be adjusted accordingly)

£37,500 per annum (full-time)   

The School Physiotherapist will be a key member of the Health and Wellbeing team, working closely with students to provide expertise, guidance, preventative support and treatment of injuries to all members of the Student body. 

Helping students to gain a clear understanding of the key elements of injury management and prevention. The Physiotherapist will also be responsible to gathering data, auditing injury records and communicating with parents. 

The school is committed to working as ‘one’ to best meet the needs of all students and therefore the successful candidate will demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm in supporting young people in all aspects of school life to fulfil the School’s vision of being outstanding in everything we do; Live, Dance, Learn.

Working hours are full-time however the school is open to part-time hours. This is a term-time only position plus 2 weeks for Summer and Easter holiday programme (total 37 weeks per year).
