Birmingham's dance and culinary giants will unite on Tuesday 8 July as we host a spectacular charity Gala in partnership with acclaimed Edgbaston restaurant, Chapter.
The elegant black-tie event will begin with a music and canapé reception from 6pm, followed by a special performance of the school’s Voices & Virtues summer showcase, celebrating the bold voices of the next generation of dance creatives, while honouring the technical mastery of classical dance.
Elmhurst students will perform a range of dance in the school’s studio theatre, including excerpts from Sir Peter Wright’s Swan Lake and Marius Petipa’s Giselle, alongside original works by alongside original works by boundary-breaking choreographers Miguel Altunaga, Jacob Wye, and Jessica Wright.
The evening will conclude with a seasonal two-course dinner, curated and prepared by the award-winning Edgbaston restaurant, Chapter, with carriages at 10.30pm.

The team behind the restaurant are proud to support local farmers, fishermen and artisans - committed to sustainability in every dish. The specially curated menu for the Voices & Virtues Summer Gala at Elmhurst will bring the best of what the UK has to offer, sourced from ethically raised free-range herds, local fruits and vegetables, and daily catches from Brixham Harbour.

Tickets for the evening are priced at £130 each, or £1,100 for a table of ten, with all proceeds supporting Elmhurst as a charity to make ballet more accessible for children of all backgrounds, through mentoring, bursary support and outreach within the Birmingham community.
