There are just a few days remaining to apply for this year’s Elmhurst Ballet School x Studio Wayne McGregor: Spring Intensive, an exciting opportunity for young dancers to train alongside one of the world’s leading contemporary dance companies.
Taking place this April, the three-day intensive offers an immersive and inspiring programme designed to challenge, energise and develop dancers aged 11–16. Delivered in partnership with Studio Wayne McGregor, the course combines Elmhurst’s outstanding ballet training with innovative contemporary practice, giving students a unique insight into expressive movement, improvisation and creative choreography.
Led by Elmhurst’s expert faculty and artists from Studio Wayne McGregor, alongside other leading contemporary dance professionals, the intensive encourages creativity, versatility and confidence. Through a blend of ballet and contemporary techniques, students are supported to explore their artistic voice and broaden their performance skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The course will be held at Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham and includes:
Contemporary technique classes
Improvisation and creative workshops
Choreographic exploration
An informal sharing of work on the final day

Fees:
Residential: £550
Non-residential: £460
A £50 non-refundable deposit is required once a place is offered. Fees include daily dance training, evening activities, and all food and drink.
