Elmhurst X Ballet Nights: New Futures
On Tuesday 9 June, our students took to the stage at London's Cadogan Hall as part of Ballet Nights: New Futures, a prestigious event celebrating the next generation of dance talent from across the UK's leading professional ballet and dance schools.
The performance saw Elmhurst's Year 12 male students and Graduate Year dancers showcase their artistry alongside peers from some of the country's foremost training institutions. The evening provided audiences with a unique opportunity to experience the breadth, diversity and future of dance in a single programme.
Performing on one of the capital's most respected stages, our students delivered works by acclaimed choreographers Miguel Altunaga, Lachlan Monaghan and Sir David Bintley. Their performances demonstrated the technical excellence, creativity and expressive artistry that are hallmarks of Elmhurst training.
New Futures is an internationally recognised performance series that celebrates classical ballet, contemporary dance and emerging choreographic voices. Known for bringing together world-class artists and rising stars on one stage, the series offers exceptional opportunities for young performers to gain valuable professional experience while reaching new audiences.
For our students, appearing as part of New Futures was both an honour and an important milestone in their development as young artists. They performed with confidence, maturity and professionalism beyond their years, representing Elmhurst Ballet School with distinction throughout the event.
Just as impressive as their performances was the manner in which they conducted themselves during the visit. Their focus, commitment and pride in their school were evident at every stage, reflecting the values that underpin life at Elmhurst.
We are incredibly proud of all the students involved and grateful to Ballet Nights for providing such an inspiring platform to celebrate the future of dance.
