As the 2025/26 academic year draws to a close, Elmhurst Ballet School is saying a fond farewell to a number of much-valued colleagues who have made a lasting contribution to the life of the school.
Across academics, artistic training, finance, health and wellbeing, and boarding, each member of staff has played an important role in supporting our students and upholding the school's values. Their dedication, professionalism and care have enriched the Elmhurst community, and they leave with the gratitude and best wishes of colleagues, students and families.
Within the Academic team, Mahsa Hart, Teacher of Mathematics, and Danielle Grieve-Carter, Teacher of English, will both be taking up new teaching roles.
In Finance, Claire Newland, Funding and Finance Administrator, is relocating to Kent, while Laura Woodall, Management Accountant, has secured a promotion with a housing association.
The Artistic team says goodbye to Hannah Rudd, Contemporary Dance Teacher, who is relocating to Ipswich. Marion Lindsay, Ballet Teacher, and Alison Green, Pianist, who have both been part of Elmhurst's Plymouth Young Dancers programme, will also be leaving following the programme's closure at the end of the summer.
In Health and Wellbeing, Sarah Wood, Healthcare Assistant, is leaving to spend more time with her family. Within Boarding, Zoe Fulton, Acting Houseparent, will be returning to a former school, where she will work supporting neurodiverse children.
Jessica Ward, Principal of Elmhurst Ballet School, said: "Our staff are at the heart of everything we do, and I would like to thank each of these colleagues for the commitment, expertise and kindness they have brought to Elmhurst. They have made a meaningful difference to the lives of our students and the wider school community, and we wish them every success and happiness as they begin their next chapters."
Everyone at Elmhurst extends its sincere thanks to each departing colleague for their service to the school and looks forward to welcoming them back to visit in the years ahead.
